O’Reilly: Misinformation on Navy Yard Weapon ‘A Coordinated Effort. Hysterical Reaction’

While the media coverage of the Navy Yard massacre may be subsiding, some in the media are taking on others in the media for their coverage. Last night, in his Talking Points Memo, FNC’s Bill O’Reilly called out MSNBC, CNN and, yes, even Fox News, for erroneously reporting the killer had used an AR-15 assault rifle. Although he says Fox “didn’t celebrate it.”

O’Reilly called the exacerbation of the misinformation, “a coordinated effort. Kind of a hysterical reaction.”
