One Month Later, ‘CBS Evening News’ Checks In On Moore, OK

One of the more memorable moments from the coverage of last month’s deadly tornado in Moore, Oklahoma was when CBS News cameras captured a woman finding her missing dog live on camera, a video that was seen more than four million times online. This week, CBS News correspondent Mark Strassmann returned to Moore to check in on the residents who are rebuilding, including Barbara Garcia, the woman who was reunited with her schnauzer after the storm.

A fund for Garcia, who lost her home and had no insurance, has raised $61,000. “Even though I’ve lost, I have gained so much. This has shown me how many good, good people are out there,” Garcia told Strassman. Watch:
