Olbermann’s Studio Shift

By Chris Ariens

Some TVNewser readers wondered why Keith Olbermann hosted his Thursday show from MSNBC’s main studio at 30 Rock instead of his usual perch above the “Today” show overlooking Rockefeller Plaza. TVNewser has learned there was a concert in the skating rink which MSNBC was not made aware of until an hour before Olbermann’s show began.

The crew scrambled and moved the production across the street and away from the noise that one insider says was “loud enough to wake the dead.” Olbermann began the show with, “Good evening from our very temporary accommodations in New York.”

The concert was part of New York’s Fashion Week.
