Olbermann Calls out Former MSNBC Manager

By Chris Ariens

We missed this the other night, but MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann (@keitholbermann) called out Orlando news director Steve Hyvonen who called a mandatory meeting of his newsroom staff at WKMG-TV.

At the meeting, the employees were asked to anonymously submit names of three under-performing co-workers. Olbermann had a suggestion: write down Hyvonen’s name. But here’s where it gets interesting, Steve Hyvonen used to work as a news manager at MSNBC dayside in the early 2000s, but not with Olbermann. He ended the “Worse” listing with, “That was for the staff here.”
