Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry, who is also the president of the White House Correspondents Association, is speaking out about a lack of access to Pres. Obama yesterday as Obama played a round of golf with Tiger Woods. In a series of Tweets, and a statement, Henry said a promise of transparency by the Obama White House is not being kept.

In a statement, Henry added, “I can say a broad cross-section of our members, from print, radio, online and tv today expressed extreme frustration to me about having absolutely no access to the president of the United States this entire weekend. It’s also consistent with the press access promised to the White House Press Corps prior to arrival in Florida on Friday evening.”
The White House responds: “The press access granted by the White House today is entirely consistent with the press access offered for previous presidential golf outings.”
The story has become fodder on cable news this morning with CNN putting it to viewers, asking whether we should have the right to see pictures of the President playing golf, while on Fox News a guest said he’d rather the press corps “complain about lack of answers on Benghazi” than bemoan a lack of access on the golf course.
