ABC’s medical docu-series “NY Med” premiered its second season last night to its best ratings ever.
The episode, which featured Dr. Mehmet Oz dealing with a patient’s aorta tearing, won its 10pmET timeslot in total viewers.
The show drew 5.5 million viewers and 0.9 A18-49 viewers. At the preview screening of the first episode two weeks ago, EP Terry Wrong told TVNewser: “We see this show as far more than entertainment.”
