“Now with Alex Wagner,” the newest addition to the MSNBC daytime lineup, will debut on Monday, the network announced today.
Wagner’s show will replace the 12pmET hour of “MSNBC Live” that has rotated fill-in anchors since Contessa Brewer’s departure in August. Dana Haller, an MSNBC special events producer, will serve as executive producer.
Guests on Monday’s debut include Dan Rather and MSNBC host Al Sharpton.

NEW YORK – Nov. 11, 2011 – MSNBC’s newest daytime show, “NOW with Alex Wagner,” will debut on Monday, November 14 at noon ET. The show is hosted by Alex Wagner and will feature regular contributors and panelists to provide insight and perspective, giving viewers a broad understanding of what’s shaping the political and cultural landscape. “NOW with Alex Wagner” will go beyond the headlines to examine the forces driving the day’s stories in politics, news and culture. Guests and panelists for Monday, Nov. 14 include Dan Rather of HDNet’s “Dan Rather Reports,” Maggie Haberman of Politico, John Heilemann of New York Magazine, and MSNBC’s Rev. Al Sharpton. Most recently, Wagner was an MSNBC analyst and has been a frequent network guest since 2010. Wagner was a reporter with Huffington Post, where she covered innovation in the American economy, investigating the intersection of business, politics and new technology. Prior to this, she served as the White House correspondent for Politics Daily, where she chronicled a number of international and domestic affairs ranging from the BP oil spill to the Egyptian revolution.
