By Chris Ariens

Three weeks into its three-hour block, we’re getting a sense of the ratings for CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.

According to Nielsen (Live only data), the program is down year-to-year in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. It should be noted, last November saw elevated ratings for the cable news nets because of mid-term election coverage.

• At 4pmET, the program is down 21% in demo and down 17% in total viewers.

• At 5pmET, the program is down 23% in demo and down 21% in total viewers.

• At 6pmET, the program is down 34% in the demo and 26% in total viewers. Keeping in mind, the 6pm hour replaced the popular Lou Dobbs tonight which moved to 7pmET on Nov. 5.
