The press releases are starting to come out about this Sunday’s full slate of interviews Pres. Obama is giving to ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Univision. We hear the interviews will most likely be taped on Friday at the White House.

• NBC says David Gregory’s “one-on-one” will cover “the many challenges facing his administration.”

• CNN’s State of the Union with John King will air its “wide-ranging interview” in the first hour of the mega-show.

• On ABC, this will be George Stephanopoulos’ “first interview” with Obama since he took office.

> Update: B&C reports Obama is also confirmed to be the one and only guest on Monday’s Late Show with David Letterman. …And as the president appears on the Late Show Monday night, Rush Limbaugh is confirmed as a guest on “The Jay Leno Show” next Thursday, Sept. 24.

The interview will air on Sunday, Sept. 20. This will be Obama’s first appearance as President on “Meet the Press.” His last appearance on the program was on Dec. 8, 2008 as “president-elect.”

“Meet the Press,” the No. 1 Sunday morning public affairs program, is seen on the NBC Television Network from 9-10 a.m. ET in most markets. In Washington D.C. and New York City, the broadcast is seen from 10:30-11:30 a.m. ET.

David Gregory is the moderator of “Meet the Press.” Betsy Fischer is the executive producer. Rebecca Samuels and Chris Donovan are the producers.
