CBS NEWS “Sunday Morning” is teaming up with Parade Magazine to examine spirituality in the U.S.
Tomorrow on the show, correspondent Martha Teichner examines a new approach to faith – from beliefs about God and the afterlife, to psychics and even yoga – and she reveals some unexpected findings. The information in the story is based on a Parade Magazine poll which, among other things, revealed a quarter of Americans describe themselves as “spiritual” rather than “religious.” The story tomorrow on “Sunday Morning” at 9amET.
By the way, the venerable CBS News show kicked off its 2009-10 season last week maintaining its #1 spot in the ratings. Compared to the same week last year, viewership was up 11% (5.06M vs. 4.56M), its best performance since the March 1 broadcast.
