ABC’s Nightline posted its best November sweep in seven years in Total Viewers and in five years in the A25-54 demo. The program finished in second place, behind NBC’s The Tonight Show, in both categories, although it recorded a tie in the demo rating.
It is the closest the ABC program has come to NBC in the demo in 14 years. Nightline grew 17% in Total Viewers and 8% in the demo from last year.
