With 1,774,000 viewers for the week of April 28, ABC’s “Nightline” won its third week straight in total viewers. The newscast was up double digits week-to-week across all three ratings measurements, delivering its largest overall audience in nearly a year (since the week of 5/6/13).
“Nightline” was second, behind “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” in the A25-54 and A18-49 demographics. CBS’s “Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” was third across the board.
“Nightline” is up year-over-year in all three ratings measurements: +14% in total viewers, +8% in A25-54 viewers and +7% in A18-49 viewers.
ABC’s ratings are based on a 25-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on approximately 50 minutes (prior to the final national commercial break of each program).
