‘Nightline’ Tops Leno and Letterman in Q2

After winning late night for the 2010-11 broadcast season, ABC News’ “Nightline” also takes the win for Q2 2011 across all key target demos: Total Viewers (4.074 million), A25-54 (1.662 million) and A18-49 (1.297 million).

The ABC News program posted across-the-board increases versus the previous quarter: Total Viewers (+2%), A25-54 viewers (+1%) and A18-49 viewers (+2%); and over Q2 2010: Total Viewers (+10%) and A25-54 viewers (+5%).

ABC’s ratings are based on a 25-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on approximately :50 minutes (prior to the final national commercial break of each program).
