‘Nightline’ Has Best Week Since November

nightline anchorsABC’s “Nightline” drew its largest overall audience in more than three months — since the week of 11/25/13 —  averaging 1,718,000 total viewers, 717,000 A25-54 viewers and 555,000 A18-49 viewers.

Fueled by the news of the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, Friday’s edition of “Nightline” ranked number one in total viwers, beating CBS “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” The show was the most-watched broadcast in 8 months for “Nightline.”

The ABC show is up +18% in total viewers, +12% in the A25-54 demo and +20% in the A18-49 demo year-over-year.

ABC’s ratings are based on a 25-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on approximately 50 minutes (prior to the final national commercial break of each program).
