ABC’s “Nightline” was the number one program again last week topping NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman.” This is the fourth week in a row “Nightline” has been the number one program among Total Viewers.
Letterman was tops in both younger demos. But season-to-date, “Nightline” ranks in first place among Total Viewers, A25-54 and A18-49 viewers. This is the first time “Nightline” has been in first place at this point in the season since at least the 1993-94 season when Letterman began on CBS.
ABC’s ratings are based on a 30-minute broadcast, while CBS and NBC are based on one hour.
