NFL Network Fires Warren Sapp After Solicitation Arrest

By Brian Flood

NFL Network personality and Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was arrested this morning for soliciting a prostitute, according to TMZ.

Sapp, who was in Phoenix covering the Super Bowl, was also reportedly charged with assault. Just a few weeks ago, CBS dropped basketball announcer Greg Anthony for a solicitation charge.

Sapp has been in legal trouble before, getting arrested for domestic violence in 2010, but the charges were eventually dropped. With the current state of the NFL, it will be interesting to see if they take a stance as hard as CBS did with Anthony.
