Newseum / Unplugged

While schools and businesses closed today, the Newseum in Washington, D.C. stayed open and even sent out a note yesterday offering itself up to field reporters and news crews who drew the short straw and were looking for a place to do man-on-the-street interviews during the storm. Meanwhile, the party for the one-year anniversary of Bob Schieffer’s webcast, “Washington Unplugged,” has been postponed thanks to the snowpocalypse. The storm also postponed Schieffer’s trip back to D.C., something he told us yesterday during a chat about his time at TCU this week.
