Newsers Warm Up for Super Bowl

With ugly weather headed for the northeast this weekend, plenty of newsers are probably happy they’ll be down south.

We’ve already noted how many of CBS News’ reporters and anchors will be in Florida for the Super Bowl (though not Katie Couric), and this morning “The Early Show” was again broadcasting from Miami beach.

For “Good Morning America,” ABC’s Robin Roberts was in New Orleans this morning for the lead up to the game. (Unrelated aside: FBN’s Liz Claman was also on the broadcast in NY to discuss the market.)

Bloomberg is covering the Super Bowl for the first time this year with Michelle Steele conducting interviews and reporting. CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell is also down in South Florida. He conducted his annual financial quiz with a bunch of Super Bowl players (video after the jump).

“Fox & Friends” anchor Brian Kilmeade is in Florida and FNC anchor Bill Hemmer will also be at the big game, but not as a news anchor: he’ll be sitting on the 40-yard-line behind the Saints bench.
