David Gregory (who is now Twittering) and NBC’s Meet the Press were once again the top Sunday morning public affairs program in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo. NBC and FOX grew week-to-week in Total Viewers.
In the Washington, D.C. market, MTP was #1 but FOX News Sunday slid in to 2nd place. The program averaged 79,000 Total Viewers, compared to Face the Nation with 75,000 and This Week with 65,000 (MTP had 113,000). In the demo, NBC was first with a 1.3, followed by CBS and ABC tied with .8 and FOX with .5.
This Week was rescheduled in several markets (5.4% of the country) for NBA basketball.
NBC’s Meet the Press averaged 4,003,000 Total Viewers, CBS’ Face the Nation had 2,883,000, ABC’s This Week had 2,837,000 and FOX News Sunday had 1,603,000.
