MSNBC premieres its latest documentary “Why Planes Crash: Brace For Impact,” tomorrow at 10pmET. The special is reported by NBC News anchor and aviation enthusiast Lester Holt.
The one-hour doc “features chilling firsthand accounts of life and death ordeals from airline crews and passengers aboard some of the most terrifying instances of airplane ditchings ever recorded,” says the press release. The investigation looks into the factors – from engine failure and bird strikes to hijacking and fuel exhaustion – that lead pilots to make the life-threatening decisions.
