The Today show’s second edition of Viva Today, the special week-long series celebrating Hispanic culture and its impact across the U.S., kicks off on Sunday morning.

“The Hispanic population is one of our country’s fastest growing and its influence in the U.S. gets stronger every day.  It’s a culture we want to celebrate by emphasizing its many contributions, and “Viva Today” is the perfect platform,” Today ep Don Nash told TVNewser.

Telemundo’s Jorge Bernal starts it off with a segment about Hispanic bloggers and YouTube stars. Rockefeller Plaza will be taken over on Monday by Billboard’s top Latin music artist, Romeo Santos. “The King of Bachata” will perform a live concert, which is his first ever morning-show appearance.
