In a first for the nearly 60 year old morning show, NBC’s “Today” will present a live simulcast online as the show airs on the broadcast network.
“Today” fourth-hour hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford will host the online show starting at 7:30 AM, and will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the show, as it is happening.
Oh, and co-anchor Meredith Vieira will tweet during the program, a first for her. Though as this preview shows, she is not as enthused with the service as some other recent tweeters (looking at you Charlie Sheen).
