Actor Alec Baldwin, who stars in the NBC comedy “30 Rock,” took shots at another NBC program on Twitter Wednesday morning. Baldwin has been dealing with a stalker, and it has made international headlines. In response, a number of journalists have been staked outside of his New York apartment, including, apparently, NBC’s “Today.”

I haven’t appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt? — AB (@alecbaldwin) April 11, 2012
A story about stalking sure brings out the stalkers in the media. But, the Today Show?

In another Tweet, Baldwin said that “I think I’m leaving NBC just in time,” implying that he will not continue with “30 Rock.”
Update: TVNewser hears that “Today” was outside the apartment to do a liveshot, not intending to get Baldwin for an interview. Baldwin happened to walk outside, and a reporter, as they often do, asked him for comment.
“Today” anchors Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer and Al Roker have all appeared on “30 Rock” as themselves, and Baldwin’s character on the show, Jack Donaghy, technically has oversight of the program in “30 Rock”‘s universe.
