NBC Specials For Sale On iTunes

By Brian

Beginning today, NBC News is “offering a collection of video news and documentary programming for purchase and download from the iTunes Music Store,” the network has announced.

“Customers now have the ability to download a wide selection of current and historical news and documentary programming from NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC,” Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of iTunes says.

Some of the content is historical: “NBC News Time Capsule” includes John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon “in his own words,” produced specifically for iTunes. Some “NBC News Specials” and “Tom Brokaw Reports” are also for sale. The selection also includes “crime & punishment” episodes of Dateline NBC, some “Lockup” and “Caught on Tape” specials from MSNBC, and a few editions of CNBC’s Mad Money.
