NBC News Correspondent Makes Diner Marquee in Sanford, FL

By Chris Ariens

How do you know you’ve been in Sanford, FL for just too long, covering the George Zimmerman trial, and all that came before it? If you’re NBC’s Kerry Sanders — otherwise known as “Kerry the NBC guy” — you get your name on the marquee of the local diner. Sanders, who goes here most days after his “Today” show reports, was chowing down with ABC’s Matt Gutman recently when the waitress said to Gutman: “Never seen you.” Maybe Gutman should head down the road to the Denny’s and get his name in lights there.
