MSNBC’s ‘The Daily Rundown’ Turns Three

By Alex Weprin

Today marks the third anniversary of MSNBC’s 9 AM program “The Daily Rundown.” To celebrate, Chuck Todd was joined by his original co-host Savannah Guthrie, now on “Today.” Guthrie honored the show with a candle and a glazed donut, live from Los Angeles where Guthrie is hosting “Today’s” Golden Globes coverage.

2012 was a big year for the show — not surprising considering its political focus and the Presidential election. “Daily Rundown” saw record ratings, and was anchored live from across the country, and even Cambodia, during one of President Obama’s overseas trips.
