It was just announced by MSNBC president Phil Griffin that Shannon High, brought in to MSNBC in October 2007, is moving from her role as VP of dayside to EP of the Dylan Ratigan show and the Dr. Nancy Snyderman show. High will keep her title of VP and work to develop new shows for the network, reporting to Griffin.
19-year NBC veteran Yvette Miley joins MSNBC next week as Executive Editor overseeing editorial content, including breaking news and weekend coverage. She too will report to Griffin. Yvette joins from NBC’s South Florida station WTVJ where she was VP of news.
Interestingly, High also joined MSNBC from South Florida where she’d been VP of News at WFOR/WBFS.
The Ratigan show, airing from 9-11amET and Dr. Snyderman’s show, airing at NoonET, both debut on June 29 on MSNBC.

I am pleased to announce that Shannon High has been named Executive Producer of the Dylan Ratigan show and the Dr. Nancy Snyderman show, effective June 15. Shannon has been an invaluable leader to MSNBC Dayside and the network from the day she arrived. She brings leadership, a passion for cable news and managerial insight to this key new role. I can’t think of anyone who I would trust these two extremely important shows to more than Shannon. She will continue to report to me in both her new capacity and also as Vice President where she will help develop other MSNBC daytime programming.
Yvette Miley also joins us next week in her new role as Executive Editor, MSNBC, overseeing the editorial content of MSNBC Dayside, including breaking news and weekend coverage and will report directly to me.
