MSNBCLogo304x200As two new MSNBC hosts take to the air today, there are some changes behind the scenes too.

“Jansing & Co.” EP Rashida Jones—who joined MSNBC six months ago— and “News Nation with Tamron Hall” EP Ilyas Kirmani have both been promoted to the new positions of Managing Editor, reporting to MSNBC VP and executive editor Yvette Miley.

MSNBC tells us new EPs for the 10am (Jansing) and 11am (Hall) will be named in the coming weeks.

And TVNewser has learned MSNBC has hired Larry Epstein, the senior producer of Fox Business Networks’ “Cavuto,” as EP of “The Reid Report” with Joy Reid which debuts today at 2pmET. Epstein also previously worked as a producer for Neil Cavuto’s Fox News show  “Your World.”
