MSNBC appears to be experimenting with a more-is-better approach to graphics during MSNBC Live.
This morning, the channel introduced a next generation ticker with tabs listing the next stories. “They’re not as good as CNN International is with the changing subjects, but changing stories is definitely a step away from the other TV nets,” an e-mailer noted. ESPN has a similar style ticker.
At noon, the channel added news headlines, stock prices and weather updates to the right side of the screen. But the boxes only appeared for a little while, ICN noted.
