MSNBC Clarifies Ed Schultz’s Role at Wisconsin Democratic Convention

Tomorrow, Wisconsin voters will go to the polls — again — to decide if Republican Gov. Scott Walker should keep his job. Later in the week, Wisconsin Democratic leaders will gather to hold their annual convention.

Last week, the AP reported MSNBC host Ed Schultz would be one of the speakers. But this morning, MSNBC reached out to us to clarify Schultz’s participation in the event which begins Friday and continues Saturday.

An MSNBC spokesperson tells TVNewser, “Ed does not have a speaking role at the Wisconsin Democratic convention. The convention is open to press and Ed plans to attend.”
