MSNBC At 10: Anniversary Party In NJ

MSNBC held a 10th anniversary party in Secaucus this afternoon. An insider says Brian Williams gave a “very funny speech recalling the early rehearsals for MSNBC” which took place in the CNBC cafeteria. (MSNBC was co-located at CNBC in Fort Lee for the first nine months.) Phil Griffin “called all the employees who had been here since day one to come up to the stage (probably about 40 folks) for a round of applause.” New GM Dan Abrams thanked everyone for his support over the last month. And Steve Capus talked about the importance of MSNBC to NBC News and noted that everyone on stage — Williams, Griffin, Abrams and himself — were all MSNBC alums…
