In a new segment called the Morning Mix, “Good Morning America” anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos discussed, among other things, Sarah Palin’s debut as a Fox News commentator/analyst on “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Stephanopoulos talked about how he made this same move. “I was in this transition, going from politics to being an analyst. It’s different going from being an advocate to someone who steps back and analyzes,” said the former Clinton administration official.

Roberts added, “The numbers are going to be huge. She has a tremendous following. Some are wondering if it’s the right move. Sometimes she can misspeak. Sometimes she can say things that aren’t quite factual.”

Stephanopoulos also predicted Palin would not return to politics.

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell put together a story on Palin’s debut which aired on the “Today” show at 8:30. And the CBS “Early Show” mentioned Palin’s new job during the 8am news update.
