Network morning shows were all live in Orlando this morning, with heavy coverage of the attack on the Pulse nightclub that left 50 people dead. “The world stands in solidarity with the victims of the worst mass shooting on American soil,” said Charlie Rose on CBS This Morning.

CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, who anchored from Orlando Sunday night, said “this morning we talk about the courage exhibited by ordinary people in the worst of circumstances.”

On ABC’s Good Morning America, Donald Trump defended his comments on the Orlando attack, telling George Stephanopoulos “the last thing I want is congratulations … I was right and I have been right and I am right.”

On NBC’s Today, Hillary Clinton was asked about a charge made by Trump that neither she nor President Obama use the phrase “radical Islam.” Clinton told Savannah Guthrie “to me, radical jihadism, radical Islamism, I think they mean the same thing,” but stressed “I’m not going to demonize … declare war on an entire religion.”

On Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends, Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer, speaking at a morning news conference, said “we will not be defined by the act of a cowardly hater. We will be defined by how we respond.”
