Morning Show Ratings: Week of Sept. 7

morning show anchors_640NBC’s Today show wins two weeks in a row in the A25-54 demo, the demographic favored by advertisers of news programs. The win was by the slimmest of margins: 5,000 viewers or .3 percent. Good Morning America still takes the total viewer crown with a more than 10 percent lead.

Compared to the same week last year, No. 3 CBS This Morning was the only broadcast to grow both viewers and the demo. CTM was up 13 percent in viewers and up 1 percent in the demo. Today was down -4 percent in both viewers and the demo, while GMA was down -6 percent in viewers and down -15 percent in the demo.
