Morning Show Ratings: Week of Sept. 1

The network morning shows finished in their usual positions last week – a week dominated by coverage from the RNC. NBC’s Today show finished in first place, ABC’s Good Morning America in second, and CBS’ The Early Show in third. Early was the only show up across the board, year-over-year: up 16% in Total Viewers and up 25% in A25-54. Today had its biggest Total Viewer audience (excluding Olympics) in three months.

For the week of Sept. 1:

Total Viewers: NBC: 5,546,000 / ABC: 4,331,000 / CBS: 2,829,000

A25-54 rating/share: NBC: 2.0/14 / ABC: 1.5/11 / CBS: 1.0/7
