morning-tv-tvnewser_2016Just like in the evenings, ABC’s morning show is the most-watched in the nation, while NBC’s is most-watched in the younger demo.

For the week of Oct. 31, Good Morning America topped the Today show by +185,000 viewers while Today out-ranked GMA in the A25-54 demo, by +237,000 viewers. Compared to the same week last year both ABC and NBC were down in both viewers and the demo, while CBS This Morning showed growth: up +3 percent in the demo, but down -3 percent in viewers.

The Today show, which celebrated its 22nd Halloween on the plaza last Monday, won the day in all measurements. In fact it was Today’s most-watched day in the demo since Aug. 22, the day after the Rio Olympics.
