Morning Show Ratings: Week of November 7

Americans’ search for Matt Lauer on the global map helped give “Today” its best viewership in almost six months — since the week of May 23 which was Meredith Vieira’s penultimate week on the show. “Today” had a +810,000 lead on “Good Morning America.”

Compared to the same week last year “Today” was up +5% in Total Viewers, while “GMA” was up +9%. Of the three programs, only “GMA” also saw A25-54 viewer growth, up double digits: +13%. The ABC program continues to narrow the gap with “Today” in both Total Viewers (-46%) and A25-54 viewers (-38%) versus this time last year.
