“Good Morning America” and “CBS This Morning” showed year-over-year growth last week, compared to the same week in 2011, but “Today” continues to be down double digits: -16% in total viewers. While ABC was up +9% in total viewers and CBS was up +6%, the troubling news for all three shows is that none showed growth in the younger demo. ABC was flat, CBS was down -2% and NBC was down -22%.
A new EP, Don Nash, took the reins at NBC’s “Today” this week. Last week, “GMA’s” lead on “Today” was the largest it’s been in 8 weeks.
