Morning Show Ratings: Week of May 26

morningshowanchors2014“Good Morning America” wins another week in the mornings and grows its audience compared to the same week last year. “GMA” has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in 96 of the last 100 weeks, only losing to NBC’s “Today” show during the two weeks of both the London and Sochi Olympics.

The NBC morning show, meanwhile, was also up year-over-year, +6% in viewers and up +8% in the demo. “Today” had its closest demo margin with “GMA” in two months.

“CBS This Morning,” also saw viewer growth: up +6%, but the show was down in the demo down -12% compared to the same week last year.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, all three programs were coded specials and are excluded from the averages.

The averages for the week of May 26, 2014:

  • Total Viewers: ABC: 5.524M / NBC: 4.773M / CBS: 2.952M
  • A25-54 viewers: ABC: 2.055M / NBC: 1.967M / CBS: 881,000
