Morning Show Ratings: Week of May 16

The network morning shows continued to settle for the week of May 16-20, posting numbers that were more or less flat from the week before, but up almost across the board from the same week last year.

As usual NBC’s “Today” took the top spot, with an +874K Total Viewer lead on “GMA” and a winning streak that stretches 805 weeks.

“Today” was up in total viewers and the adults 25-54 demo compared to last week and last year, with “GMA” down slightly in total viewers and flat in the demo, but up from last year.

CBS’ “Early Show” was down in total viewers and up in the demo compared to last week, and up in total viewers and down in the demo compared to last year.

The averages for the week of May 16:

  • Total Viewers: NBC: 5.73M / ABC: 4.83M / CBS: 2.67M
  • A25-54 viewers: NBC: 2.64M / ABC: 1.84M / CBS: 1.06K
