Despite finishing No. 1 in total viewers and improving from the previous week, GMA was down 5 percent from the same week in 2015 (week of June 29) and down 15 percent in the news demo.

Today was No. 1 in the A25-54 demo, a title it has claimed for 43 out of the past 44 weeks. The program was up 6 percent in the demo year-over-year, but fell one percent in total viewers.
