Morning Show Ratings: Week of December 16

“Today” won the younger demo for the first time in close to six months, beating “GMA” by 18,000 viewers while “GMA” kept its lead in total viewers by 337,000.  The total viewers gap is the closest the NBC broadcast has gotten to “GMA” in almost a year, since the week of December 31, when “Today” won in the demo.

Compared to the same week last year, all three networks were up, with “Today” showing the most growth in both total and younger viewers: +12% /+16%, respectively. “CBS This Morning” was up +9% in total viewers and +6% in the demo. “GMA” was up +7% in total viewers and +11% in the demo.
