Morning Show Ratings: Week of August 18

morningshowanchors2014ABC’s “Good Morning America” begins its third year as the most-watched morning show. The only weeks “GMA” has lost to NBC’s “Today” since the 2012 London Olympics, were the two weeks of the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

But compared to the same week last year, only “CBS This Morning” showed total viewer growth. “CTM” was up +8%, while “GMA” was down -6% and “Today” was down -1%. In the A25-54 demo, all three shows lost viewers vs. last year: “GMA” was down -7%, “Today” down -8% and “CTM” down -3%.
