Morning Show Ratings: Week of August 15

As usual, “Today” was the most-watched morning show for the week of August 15-19. The NBC program has gained +3% in total viewership compared to the same week last year, and is down slightly, -2%, in the A25-54 demographic. Savannah Guthrie subbed in for Ann Curry, who was reporting from Mogadishu this week; David Gregory and Lester Holt anchored in place of Matt Lauer on Monday and Friday, respectively.

ABC’s “Good Morning America” remained in second place, but continued to tick up in both categories year-over-year: +14% in total viewers and +10% in A25-54 viewers.

Compared to last year, “The Early Show” remained flat in both categories: +1% in total viewership and -2% in the A25-54 demographic.
