Morning Show Ratings: Week of April 4

By Chris Ariens

Despite — or maybe because of — last week’s news of a potential shake-up in the anchor ranks at “Today,” the NBC morning show stayed firmly at the top of the heap.

“Today” continued as the #1 morning news show last week with a +567K lead on #2 “Good Morning America.”

Season to date, “Today” is down -2% in Total Viewers while “GMA” is up +7% and CBS’ “Early Show” is up +1%. In the ad-friendly younger demo, “GMA” is down -7%. “Today” and “Early” are flat, season-to-date.
