Morning Show Ratings: Week of April 25

By Alex Weprin

Culminating with the Royal Wedding Friday, the network morning shows had a strong showing for the week of April 25-29.

As usual, NBC’s “Today” was the top program. ABC’s “Good Morning America” saw its best weekly total viewership in more than six years, and its highest demo viewership in over two years.

Note: CBS’ “Early Show” numbers are based on four days, Mon.-Thurs. as Friday’s wedding coverage was classified as a special. As a result the average is lower than it would have otherwise been.
