Morning Show Ratings: Week of April 12

The three broadcast morning shows finished in their usual #1, #2, #3 positions, with NBC’s “Today” show and ABC’s “Good Morning America” growing week-to-week. “Today” has been number one 749 weeks in a row — that’s nearly 14 1/2 years.

And while “Today” had a 870,000 Total Viewer lead over “GMA”, the new anchor team on the ABC breakfast show closed the Total Viewer gap by 21% compared to the same week last year. “GMA” also had its largest Total Viewer lead over #3 CBS’ “The Early Show” in three years.
