The gap between Today and GMA stood at 490,000 total viewers and 710,000 25-54 demo viewers last week.
Compared to the same week last year, NBC is down double digits, because viewers tuned in to see Katie Couric‘s farewell.
But season-to-date, Today has increased its advantage over GMA in the 25-54 demo from 20 percent with Katie to 29 percent with Meredith Vieira.
