Live, from New York, its “Morning Joe!”
On their MSNBC show this morning, the hosts of “Morning Joe” announced that they will be taking over “Saturday Night Live”‘s studio, 8H, on November 3rd, the day after the midterm elections.
“The morning after the mid-term elections, “Morning Joe” will broadcast in front of a live studio audience from historic studio 8H at 30 rock,” host Joe Scarborough said on the telecast. “We will have the best political minds in the business to analyze, dissect and debate all the key election results.”
Yes, the show will have a live (and presumably tired) studio audience, though co-host Willie Geist promised “free Starbucks, and maybe free beer,” for attendees.
While Studio 8H is the home for “SNL,” it also regularly serves as a hub for other NBC Universal programming. “30 Rock” filmed a live show there just last week.
