MMA blog CagePotato.com has been denied media access to all Ultimate Fighting Championship events after leaking photos of ring girl Arianny Celeste in Playboy.
The blog was planning to cover the Toronto UFC Fan Expo next month but were shot down by the UFC management.
“This is the explanation that one of the UFC Fan Expo organizers e-mailed us, regarding why CagePotato would not be welcome at the Direct Energy Centre:
Advertisement“Our contact from the UFC emailed us last night saying they have an issue with Cage Potato. She went and spoke with Dana about the situation, and he asked that we please cancel their involvement in the Expo. He said if they ask why, we can tell them, “We thought they were cool, then we spoke with Dana and found out they weren’t.”
The blog still plans to have a presence at the Toronto UFC Fan Expo and there’s a “Free Cage Potato” t-shirt in the works.
